    Hi,
I'm not too familiar with how to do this kind of thing myself and was wondering if anyone could help.

Unfortunately when I printed the poker.ie logo on some t-shirts etc, it didn't come out as it was supposed to. There were problems with the edging around some of the letters. If you look at this image, you will see there are no gaps between the edges of the letters and the cards. However, if you look at this, you will see there are. Both prints were done by different companies, and I think the company that did the ones with the gaps, must have touched it up a bit themselves.

If somebody could please help me out here by downloading this file containing the logos as Adobe Illustrator (I think) files. I'm not too sure why there are two, or which is the proper file, they seem the same to me. If you look at the bottom logo, the one surrounded by the blue, and move it around, you will notice the way the edges are. There is also for some reason, bad edging on the shoulder of the R<here.

I'm not sure how difficult this would be, but if it's not too hard, could somebody please fix it up for me? I would appreciate it greatly :)

I had a look at the file, who ever did the original has'nt a clue, what exactly are you looking for to be done? Apart from totally redoing it

    Hi,
Thanks ever so much for your help. Basically, I just want the logo to remain the same as it is but to be properly done so it will print with no gap errors as it has been doing. If you look at the image with the PVC banner and the man with his prize money, it looks to be well done there. This is how I want it to print every time. I had a look at the .ai file and when I moved it, I could see edge gaps done, but they didn't look like they were done correctly. I have no idea how to do them myself, so I'm very grateful for your offer to help.

If you look at this image, it has the initial instructions on how to create the logo. These were my instruction but I think he did it an easier way on Illustrator. I think it is fairly easy to make and I'm not sure how, as you say, he messed it up. I really just want it the way it looks before you print it and before you move the blue background away from it.

The part of the image with the glow look was just an idea at the start, we went with the plain look, but if you want to give it a shot as well, feel free:)

    Thanks again for the help!

if you are doing this website as a way to make money why don't you just shell out the money and pay a professional seeing as you're going to be profiting from it?

Well the logo is done, it just needs a little touching up. We don't have the capital to pay a professional a crazy price for what would probably only take 5 minutes for anyone who is familiar with Illustrator, were just starting off. :o

I'm assuming its a simple process, if not we may have to look elsewhere

Why not pay a professional familiar with Illustrator do do it in 5 mins, or pay in kind.

What would I be looking to pay for 5 mins work do you think? Any pro's here who could do it for a small fee?

    Hi Alan,
That would be amazing. I originally made some instructions for the original designer on measurements etc, if it helps, it's here:)

Basically I just want it to look as it does now but with it done properly so there wont be trouble with printing etc. It's just when you start to move it around in photoshop you see the errors

    Thanks a mill for this!!

    Hi again,
I'm getting quite desperate for this. What kind of price should I be expecting to pay for someone to do this for me? It's about a 5 minute job for an experienced photoshopper I'd say  What's the usual price for such a job?
    Thanks:)

    Hi again,
Thanks for the reply, here is the new link with the two .ai files.

If you read my post above you will see I posted instructions of dimensions etc if you need them. I'm not sure if it's done the same way in illustrator or not though.

    Thanks again

Here are the files with the changes.

I have split them up to individual files so that you can always send a printer the correct one. It will make sure that they dont acidentally use the wrong version.

    PDF versions

    ILLUSTRATOR CS2 versions
