Please, please, please tell me that I wasn't the only one to experience this amazing bluesman's gig in Whelan's tonight. Absolutely stunning. Not the most famous of people but man, this guy can play.

Stand out tracks were Rainy Night in Georgia; They Caught The Devil and Put Him in Jail in Eudora, Arkansaw; Polk Salad Annie & You're Gonna Look Good In Blues.

One of the greatest gigs I've seen in Dublin in ages! :)

First time I have missed him here. But the twice I saw him I was very very disappointed. I have been a fan of his for I suppose nearly 30 years and I never dreamt Id get to see him in Dublin but to honest both times I thought he was just going through the motions and was reallly really disappointed. The time I saw him in Whelan's I thought he played a very short set too.
