I've been contemplating it for a while, and I think it's the right thing to do, unfortunatly I don't want to join the catholic church or anything else, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction and recommend some kind of mail-order marraige kit?

    Thanks!

I think it was the Universal Life Church we all got "ordained" by in college one day (Google it :))

I can perform marriages in some states in America but not circumcisions... so what's the point

Yes, I believe you can get the power to marry people in certain states, so that is one option. Tell us though, why do you want to be able to marry people. Of course the other alternative is to get yourself a girlfriend -> Fiancee -> Wife! :) Of course all that usually comes with a mother-in-law!

First, you have to be able to spell it......

or maybe you could consider weeding?

Edit: Sorry, my mistake - You said:

"I want to be legally able to preform marraige. Where do I start?"

Don't they come pre-formed these days?

"You may now kiss the bridle".

Well before ya join anything, there's the Civil Registration Act 2004 about to come into practice (it's been passed), which will alter the way marriage ceremonies are performed here. Check Section 4 for the marriages - there's a lot of legalese to decipher (and it's 4am so I'm not doing it!) but you may find your answer in there...

It would be great at partys. You could stay up and wait for everyone else to pass out drunk and then marry them all to each other...
