    Hi all,

Im looking into getting a web page hosted on a Linux server. The Site will have a front page for information + links kinda with a blog style but I the main reason for the site would be to host picture's of friends and family who are off travailing the world, the picture's are all over the place at the moment and I would like to centralise them on one site.

Does anyone use \ know any good photo album software that they would recommend for this, I have heard about a program called "album" but this will be my first web page so I really dont have a clue if its any good or not.

Anyway appreciate any comments on the software / Idea itself.

    Thanks

There's Gallery which I just installed yesterday and plan to play around with. It looks like it meets your specifications. Installing and configuring it wasn't too hard, though I haven't got into playing around with it yet, so I can't really give you a proper review.

Gallery is by far one of the best and easiest to use.

Out of interest one of the local hosting providers ( blacknight ) has a sysytem that automatically installs it and a heap of other scipts.
