    Hi there
Just looking around dublin over the past year or so, it amazes me how women pick up these fashions that come and go. A while back lots of young women were wearing what could be described as "shawls" or maybe "panchos". I thought they looked absolutely ridiculous! Especially when paired with a skirt, beret, and cowboy boots, I mean what the hell are those cowboy boots all about? The latest fad I've noticed are these frilly long hippyish skirts, ranging in colours, generally white or orange, paired with flip flops. Again, I think it looks AWFUL, and really OTT. I think my memory has blocked out some of the other women's fashion atrocities over the years but if I dug deep I could find a few I reckon. If you go to france/italy/spain/germany etc. they seem to dress a lot smarter, with none of the fashion faux pas you see her, for example, they'll never wear a belly top if a sack of veiny flab will be hanging out. What I want to know is... where on earth do young ladies get the ideas to dress up like this? And is there any man out there who actually finds fake tan attractive? Are we the worst dressed nation in europe?

Refer to the fashion/appearance forum, where such issues are a regular debate. Not sure if anyone's mentioned the fake tan thing though....zzzzzzzzzzzzz
