poker on channel 226

    Has anyone been watching this. They show online poker with a 5minute delay from 9.30p.m. every night from different sites such as stan james and bet365. Some of the play is hilarious and last night they were showing a NL 25/50 cash game with a max buyin of $5,000. Well omg, the standard was unreal,u wouldnt expect such poor poker at at 0.05/0.10 cash game. these guys have more money than sense,some guy just kept coming back with 5k more everytime he got busted. Anyone else see this last night?the show is well worth watching just for the comedy value.

    Also,on channel 425 there is a weekly poker magazine that is repeated every night at 11 that is worth watching,had the irish poker open a couple of weeks ago, and the BPO heats have started on the poker channel, and before you ask, no i dont work for sky digital!!!

    its not play money although it might as well be for these players. Its cold hard cash,they also show stt's, it would be stupid if they showed play money.in fact if u played on stan james or bet365 u would probably see yourself on tv.

    Yep I have seen this and I downloaded the software because like you say the standard is awful but then the standard is awful everywhere now and only getting worse.

    I wonder is the 'awfulness' of many of the current crop of poker players reflected in the bigger tournaments? I see the Poker Stars *already* have over 100 players entered in the WSOP 2005! A fair few of those must be those who 'lucked out' and can't play for sh*t.
