An Post and lost mail

    Does anyone know where I should go if I know a package due to me has been lost by An Post themselves?

    I've heard that there is an Post warehouse out on the Naas Road, or thereabouts, where undelivered packages are kept. I was told of a "friend of a friend" who went there in the hope of finding a package containing two bridesmaids dresses for his daughters. He spent a few hours searching through the place, but found it. Or so I've been told

    nope it wasnt registerd, but it was part of an order of DVDs from play.com

    I received everything else in my order except this final item - all items were posted/shipped the very same day last week

    GIve it another few days as things can de delivered at different times. I've learned this through experience. If it doesn't come then, get in touch with play. I've often had to do this with cd-wow (never play, as far as I recall) and they've always resent the item. They just ask you to return one if both arrive.

    I've contacted Play a few times about DVDs that have got lost in the post ... they've always re-sent them without quibble ... what a great word QUIBBLE :D

    simply because I got several emails from play.com confirming they have shipped all goods, that because of the size of the order, that I recieved everything except one thing, and the item in question was in stock before and after I bought it.


    so if it doesnt turn up by today an post are to blame, as I have already been onto play.com - and they have yet to mess up an order for me
