Dapper wins Mayday Masters Satellite

Well done Dapper on the satellite result last night.
I was gutted to surrender my large chip lead on the final table to the invincible Macker - who made an amazing comeback from only a couple of hundred chips on the final table and did me considerable damage when he rivered a K with K8 against my pocket 8s. K8 was to undo me again when I slow-played pocket Aces from late position. I bet big on the k high flop and dapper put me all in with his K8. Turn was another K and I was history.

A very enjoyable tournament, with a large boards contingent on the final table. Standard was very high except for one luckyface who knocked nearly everybody out. These games should be on every night. What about satellites for the Fitz 270 also?

thought i was motoring myself.....bout 4th in chips for a good while til we got down to the last 13 and i had AK in the small blind. that macker dude was position raising the whole game so i went all in this time when he went a stealing.....he called........questionable but his pocket 9s stood up

sats for the 270 would be cool btw!

I was hanging on for a while but then my Q's came up against daveyDevils K's.

The heads up was a great game to watch (insert various sad poker addict statement here) and the final table had SIX boards regulars on it.

Well done all. I like to think I contributed to Rossa's win with my AJ v AK when utg with 5 left. (Marq - I was making a move! )

Very enjoyable and well done DapperG !! I would have liked to see more subscribe, hoping it will build up. The more we get the higher the chance of more than one seat. If we get more people we will post more Sats but we only had 26 entrants. Would have liked to watch the final table but even the pit-boss needs her sleep.

Yeah, well done DapperGent... thought you played a very good heads-up game to come back and win it.

Enjoyable game, and thought the standard was good; I found myself having to think a hell of a lot more than in the usual STTs I recently started playing online.

Thanks guys! And thanks for the support from the rails last night as well.

The 15 minute blinds made it a great game, I don't think I've ever played a heads up with such deeps stacks which made it very enjoyable. Also in a higher blind structure I don't think I could have ever made it back from being so low, it was nice to be a shortstack and still have a bit over 20 BBs. That guy macker came real close to winning it which would have been an amazing come back.

Really looking forward to the game now.

The standard was really wierd last night, there seemed to be only two types of players: absolutely terrible and very good.

On the first hand of the night. I called a min raise in the SB with 85o along with a few others and check raised a J85 (I think flop) and got called by the preflop raiser turn was a 5 to give me a house. I check called his bet. River was an Ace I think and I went all in and got called by QTs. No pair, no draw the way along, just queen high. It was weird.
