Problems dislaying gifs etc in IE6 after windows recovery

    I had a failure at the weekend and I had to reformat. When i reinstalled, i found that Gifs were no longer animated etc. AFAIK all settings are ok. Everything has been ok until I reformatted.

    Spec

    Win XP SP2 all patches installed
    Zone alarm
    512 ram

    Any help would be appreciated. Seems a strange problem.
