    anyone got any good general tips for laptop users?
    Post them here.
    Heres mine. Feel free to dispute them or post more.

    * Use a second screen- If you usually use your laptop as a desktop replacement - its easy, just plug in a monitor and tweak display settings then BAMM!- twice the screen real estate!

    * Get a proper laptop bag/case. You wont regret it. Theyre usually expensive but can be found cheap. I got a good dell laptop bag on ebay for 25 euro. They are designed to be tuff will keep your laptop safe even if they get bumped about a bit.

    * download hotkeys software.
    If you dont have the media keys found on most PCs, hotkeys software is dead handy for controlling things like music, without having to go into the application.

    * Keep it ventelated. - If you use a laptop in bed for example, your duvet may block the ventelation and overheat it.

    more tips please?:) /........
