Yip, that's a public urinal alright.

Thats nothing compared to the one that was in the center of Groningen, (a city in north of Holland), it looked very similar to this one but better.
After 12 in the night it used to rise up out of the street, like an elevator kinda. Stayed there till about 3 or 4 in the morning and then just disappeared back down into the ground.Thought it was the greatest thing!! But i'm only simple ;)

    Christ!
The smell of p*ss in dublin is bad enough without having public bogs lamped in the middle of o'connell bridge! And you would get blokes flashin at every woman that walked past! It would never work here..
Some people might like it but! You know who you are!

i was in maidstone, kent last year and they had a few of them. smelly buggers but handy.

i did however see a gang of lads put one of their mates heads into it. i think bringing those into dublin would only increase the number of "pissed" people on our streets.

Hilarious t-shirt. It reminds me of a sign I saw once with this on it:

"You don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps!"

    I was in stitches.

Yeah I seen this in Bristol and Cardiff on a recent trip over for the rugby. At first I thought it was a terrible idea, but if you think about it, its better than lads pissing against shop doors and stuff like that....

A few about the city centre on weekend nights wouldn't be a bad idea in Dublin. I live in the city centre and im sick to death of people pissing in front of my building... and that hasn't just been restricted to guys.. oh yes, the ladies are just as bad... you better believe it

They have them next to a walkabout here, they come out of the ground, only "Up" when the bar closes.

    Good Idea.

And this would be different to the status quo how?
