Looking at getting a small flash MP3 player and found this on Expansys. The spec seems more than adequate for my needs but I've two questions :
1 Has anyone dealt with Expansys before ?
2 Is the price alright (allowing for the fact I'm not fond of E-bay)?

I've dealt with them, they cancelled two orders without giving details.

    It is what it's.

I've ordered from them a few times with never a bother. I'm not sure what the story might be with stuff that has to be specially ordered though.

You could always try creative irelands online shop :

    www.creative.ie

Having just had a look I see the same player is €150 from Creative directly. Not sure what the delivery charge on this would be but Expansys look like they would be cheaper.

Looks good, used them before, decent service, not especially quick, but good.

And a very good mp3 player too, apparently, cnet have good review.

    Good luck

Dealt with them quite a few times, no complaints. Don't be surprised if they ask you for a photocopy of the credit card (or a drivers license) - this is quite common.

Most of their regular customers would be over on the mobiles/pda forum - if you need more re-assurance, ask there.

Sorry to disagree Chump but if you look tru' the discussion forums on Creative's own site you see that there are issues with clicks, backlight noise etc..with this particular model. I was thinking of buying same until I saw bad feedback. If you can't find info I'll post a link tomorrow.
Creative give a 10% disc if you phone them directly ( PHONE TO ORDER
+353 1 806 6909 ) and include free delivery. Also they have a "no quibble return"? within 30 days or so I think. You could ask when you call...
If you really want to purchase you could also try komplett. It's about the same incl delivery from them.

Here's that link to Creative's discussion boards and also a link to independent testing of this device if you want to find out more before purchasing.

Well I'm just comparing it to the cnet review where it is one of the editors top picks.
    http://reviews.cnet.com/Creative_MuVo_Micro_N200_1GB_Black/4505-6490_7-31212090.html

And there's scare stories about every sort of device/illness/anything on the net, in particular forums.

If you were to not buy something because you read that someone had a bad experience with it, you wouldn't be buying anything.

ps. I've yet to read the independent test (maybe it will change my mind ;) )

    Ah yea, it did :)
I'd still buy it though, I like clicking sounds
