How much credit is on them?
If none then it is a rip off since most charge a nominal fee and give you credit in excess of the fee

I know the vodafone store on grafton street were selling sim packs with free credit (can't remeber how much) for €10 and that was b4 xmas so I would assume that all stores that sell vodafone sims would be selling at that price.

    Edited for typo's

I work in Carphone Warehouse and all the networks charge 10 euro for SIMs.

I know last year they used to charge 30 but the price got dropped when this whole porting thing came in

as said above, that would depend on how much credit comes with them. i changed to meteor recently and i find them very good value
