    Apparently the new machine will indeed be white, will be conclave in design and will be called the xbox360.
    White should look good, conclave will probably either look wierd or really sleek and the name is... meh. I guess we'll know for sure in a months time though.

    Countdown to the xbox2/next/360/xenon has well and truely started, I have little doubt this "insider" is just there to whip up more of a frenzy, if this is part of the campaign before the machine is even shown, I can't imagine what they'll do for the actual launch... set up a whole tv channel?!

    I'll trust EG.net/Gi.biz's source. BTW the source only confirmed the 'conclave' design and the 'Xbox 360' name. The console, or controller, being white is something EG apparently worked out them self vie ourcolony.net.

    "The machine can stand upright and hollows in at the middle, like it's "sucking in its cheeks," our source told us today."

    ...I think this bit relays that the 'conclave' design isn’t as weird as it first sounds, with at least one side most likely being a flat suffice. It could be a box with two sides like this... ) (

    oh, I do trust the source, I just think it was someone from Microsoft doing some backhand publicity stunt rather than someone secretly spilling the beans behind Gates' back.
    As for the one-side conclave... I dunno. It would make more sense alright but that quote doesn't really give much away. If anything I'd say it suggests both sides are going in as it says cheeks rather than cheek. A conclave design on both sides could work, though, with the widest part working as the feet of the machine. I wonder if it will be as blocky as the original machine, the hints from the above article would suggest that it's going to be a much smoother looking machine, I'd say to fit the conclave design the corners will be curved rather than jagged too.
