Laptop Keyboard wear

I have a HP laptop just over a year old and the keypad is wearing badly. Has anyone any suggestions as to how to fix these keys or has anyone had a similar problem.

I've tried keypad stickers from www.latkey.com but they were rubbish and completely different font to those on the laptop.

Is my only choice to paint the letters back onto the keypad???

You could possibly buy an entire keyboard replacement, depending on your model of laptop for example. But painting them back on would be the cheapest :)
