Crumb release their debut album, 'evenings & weekends', on Wednesday 20th April 2005 on their own label, disque fridge.

Crumb are a three-piece made up of Dez Foley, Eamonn Davis and Derrick Dalton. After 10 years spent recovering from the trauma of the success of their previous bands The Sewing Room, Mexican Pets and Hey Paulette, the lads finally decided it was time to come out of semi-retirement, pick up their guitars, and play pop tunes.

"Guitar pop rock sounds, like a cross between Teenage Fanclub, The Go Betweens and The Byrds" - Road Records

To celebrate the release of their album, they will be playing in
. The Hub, Temple Bar, on 20th April
. Admission is EUR10 and includes a copy of the album
. with MEDEA and The Ruby Tailights

MEDEA are an all-girl rock band based in Dublin. Recently singled out byHotpress as an act to watch in 2005, Medea play minimal guitar music that has been compared to Sleater Kinney and Joy Division. Recently they featured on Risc record's excellent Red Bridge compilation and their debut album is imminent.

The Ruby Tailights won't tell us what type of music they play so that they can retain an air of mystery. The band features ex members of 90s acclaimed indie act Sunbear. They too have decided to come out of retirement before their mid-life crisis kicks in. They have recorded their debut album with Joe Chester and it should be released some time this year.
