Erasing History on Mozilla Firefox and Google Desktop Search and Passwords etc.

1 Can anyone please suggest to me a way of erasing the history of sites visited in Mozilla Firefox ( the way you used to be able to do it with Internet Explorer)

2 Can anyone also suggest how to clear the history in the Google DESktop search i.e. the search keeps predicting what I am about to type in from the 1st couple of letters that I type

3 Along the same lines as questions 1 and 2 , how could I change the feature on my computer that has remembered passwords etc. for various websites to save me the time of re-typing them.

For a couple of them I no longer want the computer to remember them (for security reasons)

It's the same with the predictive thing on Google and the Firefox, I just want to clear up a load of stuff on the computer
    Thanks
    Goll

    1. Click Tools -- Options -- Privacy --- and start erasing.
    2. In Privacy -- click Saved form info and erase.
    3. Mozilla remmembers your passwords automatically. It'll usually ask you the first time if you want to save the username and pass.

Thanks a million for the help with erasing history.
The fact that Mozilla Firefox remembers your username and password from the first time it asks you; does this mean that it will store these on my computer always, or will my erasing erase all the password history also?

It's no big deal it's just that I allowed MOZILLA to remember one of my passwords to a site, and want it to stop remembering it as it is compromising the security of the password (numerically based password) (could cause a problem in the unlikely event of this DESKTOP being stolen ... probably will never be stolen but stranger things have happened.

    Thanks a million
