I've just installed fedora core 2 on a new raid array and I've got samba up and running no problem, but I seem to have problems browsing to the machine on the network.

I can hit Apple + K and get the connect to server, but if I hit browse then I can't see the new server, but if I put in the servers ip address with an sm:// prefix it works...

Is there anything I need to do to configure samba to show up in my list of servers?

add the following line in smb.conf file
    netbios name = yourcomputername

    then restart samba
