    Hi all,

I bought a Triax 110 dish, and it has no installation instructions. I got it on the wall eventually, but I have two parts left and a couple of nuts and bolts. These didn't fit anywhere. One of them is the only non-symmetrical part from the entire package. Has a very peculiar shape, with a couple of round holes in the middle, about 1/2 of an inch in diameter. The other part I have left is curved, about 6-7 inches long, maybe 1-2 inches wide, also holed in the middle. Can anyone tell me what these are for? I can attach photos later, if you still don't know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, the assembled dish looks exactly like this one.

    Cheers,
    JP

If you have a pic of bits left over I could tell you what they are

    seano,

    can you please enlighten me?
I can't see the two bits in the pic you posted. Are they there?
I already put the LNB arm through the hole in the dish and attached it with the two screws, as in your picture. However, I still can't see how the two bits in my photo would fit in.

    Thanks,
    JP

EDIT: Does anyone have the instructions for this type of dish? Can I get a scanned picture? Thanks.

The pic is a normal triax.
For the 110 there is are extra attachtment because of the size.( you have to stabalise the feedarm otherwise it danses in the wind)

already put the LNB arm through the hole in the dish and attached it with the two screws, as in your picture.
The first attachment goes in there and the long one fits aswell.

You will see it when you do it !!

    Hi JoyPad,
I have the Instructions, which are only 2 pages long and not much detail.
Do you have a fax number and I will fax them through. Send me a PM.

I already did it, and failed to identify where thow two bits could go.

Just as a starting point, can you tell me where are the holes that I need to use the last two bolts in? Since they fit the assymetrical bit perfectly, I can only assume that there should be another pair of holes somewhere to match the distance between the holes on this bit.

    Thanks again,
    JP

Thanks Ros Man, now I can see what I was missing.
Seano, you were way off, man :)

The round shaped thing goes inside the main attachment: it will keep it from folding when you tighten the elevation screws.

The other bit goes inside the pole mount, probably to keep the U-shaped screws in place.

    Very nice...

I must be going mad then .
Usually with the triax 110 dishes you have to stabalise the feed arm on the dish.
You do this by attaching an extra stabaliser under the arm onto the dish.

I stand however corrected. Luckily I dont sell triax 110 (only 64 and 78cm )so I hope I can get away with that one :o

exactly, (sorry was away all day) the long bit is pretty crucial to stop you crushing the mount, the other bit you can get away without

    Thanks for help everyone.
I got it off the wall, took it apart and added the bits.
Now it's back up and working fine.

Sorry for reviving old threads but it seems to be the only place that I've found that has a similar problem to myself.

I got the Triax TD110 dish the other day and I notice there wasn't an instruction manual present.

Can anyone tell me were this long curved piece is meant to go and what its for and also this other square looking piece? Its mentioned above about it going into the main attachment but at the minute I'm not sure what the hell it will do or maybe there is a position it fits into to aid something else?

Cheers for any help as I could spend alot of time figuring it out when the time could be spent puting the dish up.
