Wrote this a while back, what do yous think?

    visit

    There's a welcome and a smile waiting
and when you try to leave they ask
    where?
    Stay and have tea, stay,
    there's no rush, don't go
    and
    if you insist upon departing,
you won't get far, you won't have a chance,
its not worth it, so just sit back and
    relax

I feel like I am in the dark when i read it...like I should know the background to it but I don't.

What is the background to it?

    Heres another:

Raking throught the dead leaves, he often thought of
    his mother,
    who had passed away.
She would bring him tea as he worked,
for it was the type of job that would entrance him,
so much so, that if he would forget his dinner.

The quiet swish of the leaves would bring him peace,
    but if he were
    disturbed or distracted by others,
    he would become annoyed.

Mother needn't have made me that cup of tea,
I didn't want any, I was doing the leaves...
I don't take tea anymore, not now, not since
    mother has passed away.

    Heres another:

    Death comes easy
    After a pint or two,
its the morning after that gives
    trouble:
    scrubbing off the blood stains;
    burning clothes;
    writing out ones alibi.

    But in many ways, an
    enjoyable way to spend an
    Autumnal afternoon.

    uninteresting, pointless and thrifty.
