What's the name of the API Call(s) used to put an application in the System Tray? I know how to do it about 4 months ago but have since forgotten. I know at least one person on this board had done similiar work at some stage (Talliesin I'm looking at you).

    Yep that will do it.
It's a good idea to build an InvisbleAtRunTime ActiveX control that provides this functionality for you and uses it's own hWND as the HWND for the callback.

The component released by spin way back on http://www.boards.ie/bulletin/Forum19/HTML/000155.html contains a control that does this. You can either set one icon to be used, or set two and set FlashInterval to a non-zero value and Flash=True to flash the two.

The menu functionality turned out to be a bit buggy, but you can just popUpMenu your own anyway.
