Burning VCD's

    hey all i want to burn a vcd with an avi file but i dont know if my burner (nero express) burns in pal or ntsc, i doesn't state which one and there doesn't seem to be an option to change it. since its an american program i presume it burns in ntsc.. obviosly i want to burn in pal.. any advise?

    i downloaded the file in mkv format which is totally unknown to me when i downloaded it i could play it (fine) on divx and wmp9, the video totally feel behind and its really skippy... but then the next day i tried to open the file again and it wouldn't work in any program i have.. how wierd, anyone know whats going on? anyone know about the vcd thing either? thanks

    Mkv is a matroska format file. If you're having playback issues, this should help. As for converting to VCD I'm not sure, you may have to recompress it to MPEG1 first. There are porbably tools to do it but the quality loss is likely to be noticeable.
