anyone guess what the ratio of punks per county is out there (obviously Dublin and Belfast has the most).

I'm one from Tipperary. So any others in other counties can own up.

I'm into real punk 77-84, and have been for twelve years. Favourites Toy Dolls, Peter And The Test Tube Babies, Subhumans, Crass, Conflict,Dead Kennedys etc. So I can safely say i've served my apprenticeship (even though me mohawk/biker jacket/bondage pants days are gone.

Yep not a bad line up, try and listen to Special Duties, esp their live CBGB's live gig, I have stacks of Punk from 76right up until now.

There's a lot of punks around Sligo and the north-west. I mean proper punks too.

FAO Anarchist...I have Special Duties albums, but their a band I never really took to, But at least you get the jist of what I'm into.

FAO Pinhead.... I actually met some punks (all would be in their 30's) in Sligo a few years back. Can't remember their names but they were sound out.

I know exactly who you're talking. I always have a chin-wag with them in The Trades Club when there's a rock/punk band playing. Oddly enough, I always end up getting absolutely rat-arsed so i forget their names too.
