Who's going to win then? It starts in about half an hour smile.gif
I see the RTE guide this week has a feature about it and about Columbian driver Montoya - "the next big thing".

    What do ya think?

Poor Coulthard. I'm finding it really hard to hate him. Hakkinen won't support him, he has terrible luck and he tries so hard smile.gif

Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaught on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham! You just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
    hello.

I only saw the middle part of the race, but if coulthard stalled on the grid because his "launch control" system wasn't working, thats inexcusable for maclaren. Tis better to start a few places back than not at all. If he just stalled it cos he is crap at making starts, which is usually the reason, well then he deserved to be stuck behind bernouldi. Also, I remember in the previous race shumacher had problems with his launch control, so he switched to a manual setup. He might make the odd bad start, but you don't see him stalling the car too often.

I actually lost respect for coulthard during that race, which I didn't think was possible. Sure, its difficult to pass at monaco, but he never really looked like getting past bernouldi fair and square. I couldnt believe it when he failed to latch onto the coat tails of the front-runners who lapped him. It was hilarious to see coulthard politely letting Irvine through, and good to see Irvine on the podium again. He deserved it after qualifying so well.

Coulthard used to be my most hated...
Then for some unknown reason before the season started this year, i decided i'd like to see him win it... Glad ferrari wone it and all.. just didn't want to see them do it again so soon.. And as for mika, well.. he has won enough too...

I think he did the right thing in sticking behind yer man... I thought he would have got by him sooner alright, but at least if he stayed going round there, he was almost guaranteed to score points.. remember lately there was only 4 finishers at monaco or something?
Great to see irvine doing well... he has had a pretty anonymous couple of years...

I'd also love to see villeneuve in a good car again... like when he was in williams, it was really only him and schu...

The competition is much better now.. what with both ferraris and both mclarens and ralf too... without a huge gap between them... It would be interesting to see how villeneuve would compare, say if he was in the other williams? What yis think?
