I have v9 of Windows Media & all works great except viewing video clips - the image is there but in green, like a really crappy 80's music video!

Any idea how to fix this problem?

Is this the case for all your videos? Or is it just certain formats? Also, did you download theses clips?

Not all videos - I'm playing a clip form the my movies site at the moment. The one I want to view is http://www.designscotlandvideo.net/demoreg.asp# but it's coming up all green!!!

i think that could be a codec problem, you need to download a divx codec

If you are using XP you could try ugrading to Media Player 10 as well, since 9 is not the latest one for XP anymore.

Any ideas where I could find one - I'm a bit of a blonde when it comes to technical stuff! Will download V10 of the player straight away

I have the same prob. In the end i gave up trying to fix it, and used a different media player. Currently i use VLC to playback pretty much everything.
