not a chance... but winning the lotto isnt exactly a sure thing either!

betting on horses is still ur best option... but the lure of €62m is hard to resist!

It was 62mill last week, so i'd say it will be higher. got the 2 bonus nums last week.
Obvously it's harder to win, but sure why not take the gamble with your 2euro for the bigger pot?
I've probably hexed myself tonight by talking about it!
how many different permutations are there? 7billion or something?

The odds of winning the main jackpot ie match 5 plus 2 star numbers are 75 million to 1

The odds of match 5 plus 1 star is 5.5 million to 1. Someone in Sligo got 5+1 last week and won 1.4 million euro.

The odds of match 6 in the Irish lotto is 5 million to 1. The min Irish jackpot is 1.3 million and the average is 2 million+

=> For less outlay €1.50-v-€2 the Irish lotto gives better odds for generally a bigger prize and is the better deal(if you exclude the fact that with the EuroLotto you also have the 1 in 75million chance of a much bigger prize)
