Wireless PC Card For PowerBooks/MacOSX

    Hi folks,

I have just upgraded my PB3(Bronze) to Mac OS X (10.3.5), and am very pleased with the plug-and-play support (by Airport) for the Buffalo Wireless PC Card (WLI-CB-G54A). I had cautiously taken this route, and of useful input is a table (see http://home.earthlink.net/~metaphyzx/Wireless.htm ) which lists down all the WiFi cards and the required support. At close to €40, this PC Card is certainly a bargain!

Experience so far is very good at higher speeds, especially when Eircom has increased download speeds to 2Mbps as well. Looks like I will leave Mac OS 9.1 for good now.... :D

So, there are 2 MacWireless PC Cards (WiFi-B, 11Mbps; see http://www.macwireless.com/html/products/11g_11b_cards/11bPCCard.html ) which I am letting go for care under a new owner. I have used these with Mac OS 9.1 (with CarbonLib 1.6) for just under 1 year and are in mint condition.

PM me if you are interested.
