    Does anyone know when Series 9 is due to air? Play.com already have the DVD of the first 4 episodes to be released in July.

    No date out at the moment - gateworld.net just have a list of rumours/stories and say it'll be summer. To give some idea, they're filming the fourth episode of season 9 currently. You can find loads of spoilers here for the upcoming season although don't post them here without spoiler space..... Tbh I reckon play.com's date is off. It's too soon.

    I just received the first DVD for season 8 and it has a release date of July 25th for Volume 43 (Seaon 9 Ep 1 - 4), that would suggest it would start on TV in June sometime, unless they are going to release it first on DVD??

    Well Season 6 and Season 7 both began in early June so it could be that alright. Give it a few weeks before releasing it to DVD (the turnaround is pretty quick). Season 8 began in July but that seems too close this time around before packing it to DVD.

    Excellent. All new SG1, SGA, and BSG all airing on the same day - my cousins are going to be very busy on Friday nights :D
