Just wondering can anyone describe the best way to get a sound similar to Jean-Jacques Brunell out of the stranglers, the No More Heroes clangy bass sorta style. Cheers

Fender Precision bass, brand new Rotosound strings and play it really, really hard with a plec. Superb tone.

There was an article about him a while back in one of the English bass mags, he's using Ashdown amps these days.
