I'm loading my strings out of a res file obviously, but I can't convert to Japanese for some strange reason. MSDN library says that I need to create a Double Byte Character Set thingy. How do I do this? Any other info. would be helpful.

Thanks Kayos. Unfortunatly the code doesn't work for japanese. You have to build you app on a japanese machine to localise it for Japan. (effing microsoft)

Have you tried installing Japanese support on your machine and IME?

Ok, turns out that vbs command buttons do not support unicode (ffs!). Does anybody know of a replacement?
