best camera for €300

    whats the best digital camera for the €300 or so
    i am leaning towards the fujifilm 5500

    I'd go for the S5500, as I did myself. Very good colour saturation, general image quality and an excellent 10x zoom - for the price.
    I'm not sure if it's the same with all digital high-zoom cameras, but I have a bit of difficulty focusing on distant targets when on full zoom.

    I'm sure you've been there before, if not then go here for a good review of the camera.

    At the same time, now that I have my camera, I'd still like to have a higher MP camera, but that's not going to stop me from having regrets about getting the one I have now.
    For €300, you'll be hard pushed to find a better camera, in my opinion.

    i have the S5500 and its the best camera i ever bought, great pics, good zoom and lots of manual options, also the batteries last for ages, around 100-120 pics (depends on flash).

    Go for it, I did and never turned back.
