Here's what we are planning to do for our honeymoon leaving Jan 2nd 2006 (2 adults and 1 child):

Fly Ireland to Hong Kong for 2 nights (leaving around Jan 2nd 2006).
Hong Kong to Sydney for 4 nights.
Sydney to Melbourne for 4 nights.
Melbourne to Cairns for 5 nights.
Cairns to ChristChurch for 5 nights.
Christchurch to Hawaii for 4 nights.
Fly back to Ireland with possibly 1 night stop over in LA to break the journey.

Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated. Any other travel agents other than trailfinders?

Trailfinders quoted €5,500 for flights and approx €2,500 for accomodation. Whats a realistic total cost for the lot including food, excursions etc?

    Thanks in advance.

give http://www.travelnow.com/ a go... it will take hours to go through all those flight... but I am sure there is a saving to be had...

Only thing I can suggest is that I hope none of you suffer badly from jetlag or you'll be zonked the whole trip. Flying to Melbourne left me out of sorts for about 3 days.

Slightly off topic as well, but that Irishfuelprices website you use on your signature is not very up to date.

The price of fuel changes on a very regular basis, the prices do not reflect this.

Am I right in thinking that the data on the site, is only as up to date or reliable as the the people who feed in the information, or does Irishfuel prices have people on the ground themselves checking prices?

Correct. It's not my site. Just trying to inform the people.
