Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
    Does anyone know of any decent car boot sales/jumble salesin Cork City/County? Especially regular ones. Have heard there's one in Rathcormac and possibly in Crosshaven.

    AFAIK there's one in Castletownroche every fortnight, I've seen signs for it outside Charleville. Never been so it could be absolutely amazing or complete crud.

    (as long as you're not looking for a car boot - you'll want a car boot car boot sale for that)

    The Rathcormac Car Boot Sale/Market continues on a Sunday every 4 weeks, the next one being the 4th of March 2007, and thereafter 1st April, 29 April, 27 May, 24th June etc.

    It remains for the time being at the existing venue - the field on the right as you enter the village from the Cork side (its supposed to move to a new venue later this year, as housing is planned for that field!).

    Rathcormac is about 15 miles north-east of Cork city on the N8.

    They have one in Blarney a few times a yesr it's advertised in the press. theres also one outside Bandon every second Sunday but it's not that great. Also theres o annually in August in Mallow Racecourse (again advertised in the media)

    The Castletownroche car boot sale is on every 2 weeks and the next one is tomorrow Sunday 25th Feb.

    Castletownroche is on the main road between the towns of Fermoy and Mallow, and the sale itself is on lands just south of the centre of the village
