    I'm playing around four years, experience is obviously preferable but not necessary.

    I guess taste comes with age and then goes again when you get even older. You should find a guitarist in your age bracket and get him into "post rock" (I think it's labelled as post rock but I don't really know or care). May work out better for you. Good Luck

    yes, i'm a big "post rock" fan, though i hate that name with a passion. it's hard as all the guitarists i know are very much the traditional classic rock types who wouldn't really like it much anyway.ah well, i'll keep searching.
