Giving your puppy away to be trained may turn out to be a pretty fruitless excercise. You can't just "programme" a dog like a video recorder and expect it to run through the programming at the press of the appropriate button.

Dogs learn by association. For this they take into account all their senses, associating not only voices commands but also the time of day, location, sounds, smells, etc. This is why some dogs perform absolutely wonderful sits and stays on the training ground and just look at you dumbfoundedly when you ask them to repeat this at home ... because they were never trained to do it THERE.

This learning by association is particularly important and prevalent in young dogs, who have to learn something new constantly, everywhere and everyday.
Therefore you will get much better "results" when you do training constantly, yourself, at home and in your normal environment. Also you want the dog to bond and react to you and not some stranger.

It might be a good idea though, to consult a professional trainer on how and what to train.

I would think its better for you to bring your dog to puppy classes and train her yourself. At least this way you will know what is happening and she will associate you with giving her commands etc. Dog Training Ireland have puppy classes every week if you wanted to try that. If you want one on one training, there is a girl who will travel to you :
