Meant to post this a week ago.

Gamestop are doing a deal for 3 preowned (all really carp) games for 20E. You can pick up another for around 10E. You then take your 4 really sh*te games over to Game and trade them in for a brand new chart game, no extra cost.

Not sure how long these deals will be running in unison but its well worth a look.

With Game, do you get paid money for the trade ins AS WELL AS getting to buy a chart game for 99c?

    Good idea either way.

nope you greedy little man, you only get the chart game, :) costs about 30E. Better than the whoping 60 they usually charge.

if doing this make sure that there is no indication that the games were preowned (eg, marks over barcodes, stickers on discs, numbers on manuals, lots of scratches etc) as a mate of mine tried this but there were redmarks on some of the barcodes that meant they'd been preowned and game wouldn't take them

Symths won't take crap games - their T&Cs for trade-ins state that each of the (four) games traded have to be worth over 14.99 (I not sure if they always stick to this rule however)

yeh thats true they won't take crap games , i tried to trade in 4 games last week to get splinter cell :ct but 2 of the games were not even on the list and for the other 2 games they offered a total of €12 euros  .

i don't often trade in games because of this , i'd rather keep them.

Yeah they tend to offer carp mopney but the offer in game is still going and they will take any 4 games as trade in which is nice.

the game deal of trade in 4 game and get a chart game for 99cents is over, i tried them first last week and they said they pulled it early even though it was to run until the 6th ( yesterday )

If the games average out as worth around a tenner each, they will. So if you've got like... San Andreas to trade in, you can slip in summat crap with that.

Provided you're nice about it. :D
