    At 4, had a life-changing spiritual
transformation, converting the family to Christianity.

Say what? A 4 year old has a "spritiual transformation" worthy of converting the entire family to Christianity? How does that work?

I don't care what age the artist is...

    those paintings are absolutely VILE!

It's like something Napoleon Dynamite would paint.

The poetry is pretty horrible too...

If thinking paintings of dolphins and fluffy dogs and teenage jesus is lame is not having any taste... then I'm proud to be tasteless.

there was a big thread on this on somethingawful.com, but i'm too lazy to link to it. the general consensus was that the girl does have a huge amount of talent when it comes to the actual painting of the picture but there's not a great deal of creativity in them. She could be a truly great artist someday if she starts coming up with original ideas, but for now she's just "reproducing" art.

for some ultra awesome art check out this guy:

    Says it all really.

I suppose technically her paintings are excellent for a 10 year old but I wouldn't have any of them hanging in my living room.
