Eircom Broadband Guardian

    Hi

    Has anyone tried the Eircom Broadband Guardian.

    I set it up this morning and have noticed a huge speed decrease.

    Not sure if it a fluke or as a result of the firmware upgrade to the utopia modem but would be interested to hear how anyone else is finding it.

    Hi,

    ANswered my own question.

    I unsubscribed from the service and speed went straight back to normal. What is wrong with eircom that they host the service on such a crap server.

    Anyway if anyone wants to try it be prepared for speeds to go from 112kbps bown to between 20 and 30.
