    Alright!

Its here at last. The glorious Liverpool playing the Arsenal.

The question is who do you think will win it?!

    Personally I feel Liverpool will 2-1 biggrin.gif

(Just because im a life long liverpool fan has nothing to do with that prediction!)

Unfortunately I have to work that day, still the Cup Final has been $hite the last few years.

I say Liverpool to win by the odd goal smile.gif

I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with you chaps. Arsenal will lift the trophy and win 3-1 smile.gif (Of course I am slightly biased)

I do hope its a decent game thou and not one of those ca*** nervous affairs, but given the style of the 2 teams involved I reckon its going to be a cracker!!!

A good bet for that game would be 0-0 by full time best odds you could get smile.gif

Then of course liverpool to grab 4 or 5 in extra time. wink.gif

I reckon Liverpool will do it - depends on how much Houllier is thinking about the UEFA final though.. he may want to rest players

Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaught on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham! You just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
    hello.

    g'wan the pool smile.gif

Same as WWMan here - don't really care who wins (although if pushed I'd prefer to see Liverpool win- and for no real reason either) just as long as it makes for a good game of footie!

Before the game started, I played a kind'a 'prediction' game in FIFA 2001... it was spookily accurate!...

I was the 'pool... computer was Arsenal...

Arsenal scored first and seemed to dominate most of the match but for my defence being rock solid. I brought on McAllister in the 2nd half, Owen scored twice in the dying moments, and Liverpool won 2-1.

Now as for the actual game, - I watched it with my Dad... he'd have preferred to see Arsenal win for Leeds' sake (he's a big Leeds fan) - and not only that, but for them to win on penalties, and for LIVERPOOL to have had a couple of cards and a couple of injuries! smile.gif - still, as it turned out, Liverpool won - and DESERVED it ... well done Liverpool, and yes- HARD LUCK Arsenal- you tried, but you squandered some real sitters - some proper chances, and in an FA Cup FINAL - you DONT do that.

Well done Michael Owen... you English Robbie Keane, you smile.gif

Jammy jammy jammy, but well done for sticking at it. If Arsenal had brough on Bergkamp and Liverpool McAlister earlier the finishing would have been much better and more goals scored.

Speaking of The FA Cup, just read this is a newspaper:

    > > Police in Cardiff were today searching for a gang of 15 men, believed to
    > > be from the Liverpool area, after a valuable piece of antique silverware
    > > was stolen from the Welsh National Millennium Stadium.
    > > The silverware was smuggled out of the stadium in full view of almost
    > > 70,000 people following an unprovoked attack on a party of elderly
    > > visitors from London. The mugging took place late on Saturday afternoon
    > as
    > > the pensioners from North London were enjoying a stroll in the spring
    > > sunshine.
    > > A spokesman for South Wales police said, "This was a particularly nasty
    > > and cowardly assault. The attackers lulled the elderly gentlemen into a
    > > false sense of security by standing around doing absolutely nothing for
    > > almost an hour. Then, just as the visitors were about to get back onto
    > > their coach and return to the capital, the vicious young thugs struck."
    > > Police are particularly interested in talking to one member of the gang
    > > who is described as "young, dwarfish, with an annoying girlish smile; a
    > > real Oliver Twist type". He is believed to be Welsh but adopts a

    > > The gang, which includes several political refugees and illegal
    > immigrants
    > > from Central Europe, is led by a French-speaking 'Fagin' who is also a
    > > master forger and pickpocket.
    > > The police spokesman continued, "This man has no scruples whatsoever. We
    > > believe he steals most of his ideas from a near neighbour in Lancashire;
    > a
    > > man he much admires. We have interviewed this man and, although he is a

    > in
    > > Barcelona after adopting similar methods some two years ago, in this
    > > instance, he is above reproach."
    > > However, there were fears that the gang had now embarked on a crime
    > spree
    > > in Europe. The police spokesman added, "We have alerted Interpol and are
    > > watching all ports but we fear they may have already left the country.
    > > They were overheard by some witnesses talking about heading for Germany
    > on
    > > Wednesday. We can only hope they won't be back in Wales for a long time
