    Hi,

Thinking of fitting a barrel tuner to the Sako for br use.
It seems to be a useful aid for accuracy.
Found the one I want in the US......whats the story with bringing something like that into the country?
Will I need importation docs etc?
Anyone done this sort of thing before?

    Hi Vinnie
As it is not a vital part of a firearm it should not be necessary to obtain an Import Licence. However, if it is over $100 it will need clearance from the State Dept. Items under $100 can be shipped without difficulty. Hope this helps.

I read an article on these barrel type tuners on the Internet somewhere and the guy reckoned he achieved the same results with a Jubilee clip on the barrel with a little experimentation on the positioning of the clip on the barrel. It works by altering the barrel harmonics and did improve accuracy.
