Irish Junior Foursomes

Well I was reading on GUI.ie about upcoming summer events for myself. I'm currently a member of Hollywoodlakes golf club and its a class plae with nice people, but our junior section now lacks class players, myself and another seem to be the only strong players. Once you turn 8 you are intermediate, though in thatsection we have a 5 man team off 0,1,3,3,5.

But I was reading about the junior irish foursomes. I am allocated to play in Donabate, a nice enough course, but I read my opponents. The Island. I actually **** my brick. I really do think that seeding needs to be introduced. I am an optimistic person and a recent big event in St.Annes father and son saw me defeat 4 team of low handicappers and losing 1down to a college pro from america. But I really do feel that something needs to be done about this. Does anyone here feel the same? Do any of you know any gui guys or are any of you scheduled to play?

no the foursomes is a great competition it shouldnt be changed ,maybe change it back to the standard matchplay qualifying instead of a poxy strokes comp,it just makes it fairer for everybody with the handicap limit so theres no bandit 20 handicaps goin out,who are these west waterford lads winnin it twice in a row???malahide are comin to get ya
