is it possible to get an audio splitter cable....everytime i need to switch from speakers to headphones, i've to get down, reach around the back of the machine and unplug one and plug in the other :( pain in the arse...was wondering as well, would it affect the sound quality very much???

    thanks

yes it is possible, go to maplin or wasn't there a HiFi shop in o'connel street, they should have them.
normally you can say that it you plug an extension, e.g. a splitter between the speakers and the output, you will have a quality loss, the question is how much though, depends on the quality I guess
