Problem With EPG

Hi There

Last week my grundig digibox developed a strange problem.When I go from a channel to the EPG instead of sky EPG music the audio is of the last channel that I just watched. Also when I am on the EPG and press the information button it just says "programme synopsis not available". Yet when I leave the EPG and go to a channel the information display works fine. I am using a uk FTA card in this box.

Any Ideas?

Same Happened here...I just did a forced software download and it all worked out ok...

Sorry if this has been answered before, but how do you do a forced software download ?

1 Remove power
2 Hold back up
3 KEEP HOLDING BACKUP and wait for all lights on front panel to illuminate
4 You will get an On Screen message telling you of the update if you connect through scart lead - leave box for about 20 minutes

Slap on the wrist time....

1. Remove Power
1a. REMOVE CARD. Very important step.
2. Hold back up on the front of the box, not the remote.
2a. Plug power back in.
3. KEEP HOLDING BACKUP and wait for all lights on front panel to illuminate, you can let go then.
4. You will get an On Screen message telling you of the update if you connect through scart lead - llights will stay on for 10 minutes or so, do not touch box or remote, and also, do nothing until lights go out.
5. Put yer card back in and off you go.

It's just, I've never wiped my own card all the times I forced downloads on my panasonic (which, may I add died today )

I understand, its hit and miss, but as it has happened to folk here before, better miss than hit...
