It would make a nice mod integrated into an atx case or the like. I'm tempted with this instead of a vcf display. Where's that credit card gone! ;-)

Anyone know what the difference is between the two Touchscreen ones they've got, apart from the €20 difference that is?

near the bottom of the page it says
    Resolution 1440 x 234

    looks like a typ0 440x234 maybe ?
either way 234 lines is kinda low

    234 res? sounds odd

Hmm, if you divide the quoted number of pixels by 234, you *do* get 1440 though. Must be two typos so, there's no way you get 1440 pixels into a 18 cm wide screen, also, the ratio of widths of pixels and screen is all messed up. Assuming it is 234 pixels high, I get rough 380 pixels wide.
Nice mod though, I'm seeing a mac mini in my bathroom/kitchen with one of these bad boys plastered to it.

I called Komplett to ask about it, they've shifted loads of them, and maintain that that really is the resolution, pointing that the website for them ODM, who confirms it..

I got an 8" touchscreen which was nice initially. Picture quality was pretty ok for my putposes (mythtv media centre). Somethings gone badly wrong though as the power on it has died and will not come back at all. Will have to get on to Komplett about it. It didn't last even a week before suddenly it wouldn't power on at all. Would power on in the car then it stopped working off that power source too.

I'm getting a little dubious about the quality of the lilliput if we aren't the only ones with problems.

It was obviously selling too well at 99 as the price on Komplett is now 129

That's because it was the price of the weekly offer from last week.
