I'm looking for a high speed 1GB or larger SD card for a digital camera, anyone know the cheapest place to get them? They're €127 on shop4memory.com, but there must be cheaper out there..

They may not be high speed though (or they may given that their site doesn't tell us) - the one the OP mentioned on shop4memory is 60speed.

(I'm not shooting you down btw - a nice regular 512 card at a nice price would suit most folk (though having said that the regular Kingston 512 card is also 50 euros on shop4memory))

If they are not shouting about it being high-speed it isn't. 1GB is handy for video or if you are using a 5 megapixel or higher.

its viking, and doesnt say speed, seems fast enough tho tbh. I always thought the speed went up by size icrements, as you only seem to see the older 128/256 mb cards as fast speed (which may have been slower originally) not sure on this tho, but it seems fine.

My camera has an extended video feature, but it needs a high-speed SD card to make use of it. If they aren't advertised as hi-speed, then they usually aren't.
