The 3.3V level on my Dad's P4 is running a bit low at 3.04V. Is this going to present any major problems? I did notice some graphics problems with Myst:URU. Could they be down to this?
Just last night we put in a DVD-RW (philips light-scribe), an audigy 2 zs and a second 80Gb HDD, so power consumption has gone up a bit. It's a 350W power supply, Q-tech (I know :(). Is it possible it's power output is reaching max?

Thats quite low can be the cause of erractic behaviour, nearly 99% thats very low for a P4.

Maybe someone who has had one could confirm that.

No your windows and computing expereince can get very erratic with unexplained errors like STOP 0X0000000 or other stragne things happening.

Well I've been running it for the last hour or so and I havn't seen any noticable problems but I'm concernd that the PSU, knowing the reputation of Q-Tech, might burn out and take some of the other stuff with it.
Well here's some screengrabs for clearer details.

As a test disconnect some non essential hardware Cd Drive or somfin and see if voltage goes up , pretty damn sure way of finding out if your PSU knackered , may want to take out 2 pieces if possible.

Most software reading of the rails are usually incorrect. You are better off using a multimeter to check the correct readings of your rails.

I havn't had a chance to test unpluging some stuff because I'm away from home at the moment but I'll do that as soon as I can.
neo, I can believe that the software might be wrong but I'm not about to pull out the multimeter to find out. Anyhow it is reported the same in both the software and the BIOS so I'm pretty certain it's close if not accurate.

I'm wondering if there might be any other causes to watch out for. The PC is plugged into a 6-way extension cord which has every socket full, I wouldn't expect that to affect it but .......
    Any more ideas?
