    Hi,

Just wondering if any of you guys who own one of these could tell me the following, in the blue tooth connectivity options there is an option to find me i.e someone searching will be able to find your phone for a period of 60 seconds.

Is there anyway to have it permanently enabled so that you can recieve files without having to discover me every time?

Any replies would be greatly apreciated,

    Thanks,

    Samba

I have the V525 and there is no option. Find me can only be left on for 60 seconds. However if you have connected to a phone before your bluetooth name will be stored and he/she will be able to re-connect to your phone without you turning your Find Me setting on again.

Yes, the 60 second discoverable limit applies to all Motorola phones. This is to prevent "bluejacking" attempts.

There's no way to leave it permanently discoverable but as spartacus93 says the phone will store the names of the devices that connected to the phone before and these devices can connect without having to make the phone discoverable again.
