whatever your personal opinion on his lyrics (which have been fairly weak latly) you cant say the beats on his songs are rubbish they are some of the best around.

Eminem did definitley fall off after his last 2 albums,all he talked bout on both was Kim,Hailey and him mom....
I did actually lose all respect for him when he produced"loyal to the game" and made it seem like 2pac said s**t like"this is my n***a eminem" etc. He alseo did a REALLy bad job on producing the ****ing album and these days all he does is talk about his beef with Ja......
Ive always said that lloyd banks HAD talent but as he is stuck with those other clowns hes never really gonna shine until he goes solo........

Outkast (someone PLEASE make Andre 3000 stop singing!!!), Bishop Lamont (dunno why people are claiming this cat is gonna save the West Coast - he ain't gonna save ****!!), ANYTHING coming out of Bad Boy, Trick Daddy, Missy.... (I know I'm gonna get flamed for that!!!)

Can't get enough of Petey Pablo at the moment or anything by guys like K-Dee, ATL, Crooked I, Dre'sta, MC Eiht, Ras Kass ..... lovin the heck outta alot of west coast material right now - although I came across Jay Z's 'The Blueprint' the other day & the track with Em, 'Renegade' - simply an awesome track with an awesome beat & Em really delivering a strong performance.....

Andre 3000 is a talentless git. Prototype is one of the worst tunes ever made ("i wanna stank you, stank you very much".....good god, he is an embarrasment to his industry). Hey Ya?....good lord. His clothing taste also annoys the head off me- wearing stripy jumpers and painters trousers when everyone else in the industry bar Kanye, Jay and Pharell is wearing tracksuits and b-ball jerseys is not cool, its fcukin retarded looking.

Its time to also admit it-Kanye is severely overrated. Honestly, The Workout Plan? How many skits did College Dropout have? The only outstanding tune in my memory was Jesus Walks-the rest was medium to sh1t.

As for G Unit, i know most of yis dismiss them immeadiately but imho Young Buck aint half bad. Havent heard enough of Yayo to decide either way- Banks was good back in the day, altho apparently his album isnt worth sh1t.

But serious, give Buck a chance. Straight Outta Cashville is a decent album

Commercialism is not incompatible with talent, the Wu-Tang Clan and Nas are classed as "commercial" but are nevertheless some of the best in recent times. Eminem was "commercial" when he released the Marshall Mathers LP etc etc.

However, when one criticises an MC who happens to be commercial it is not automatically equated with "hating" or whatever way you want to put it. 50 Cent could be worth 70 million dollars or 7 dollars for all I care, I simply do not rate his talent because his rhymes are often useless, off the beat, hollow and meaningless. They lack real expression, which after all, is the essence of Hip Hop.

Well dont hate me y'all but i love 50s backing beats especially in "Candy Shop". Thats my fav at the mo! The chorus is good, it usually gets me singing along to it. "How we do?" is another track i like. It all depends on what gets me singing and dancin.
