Cheers guys. Yes I was in australia for a year. Some incredible opportunities to take photos. I have 100's of them but these are just a few i like, or seemed appropriate. I have several online galleries so I can share with friends etc.

For this one, http://www.zascar.com/photos/pages/img_1042.htm, I'd raise the level of the skirt and crop the mom out altogether.

This one works really well, although if you ran it through a noise filter it could be even better.

All the phots were actually taken with a Canon Ixus II Digital - not a particularily great camera, I bought it becase of its compact size, but I managed to take smoe great shots with it. I have loads of the sunsets, that one is a little 'noisy' alright but I just like it.

Yes the birds one is real, there were loads of seagulls around the place, and a little kid was amusing himself by running towards them and scaring them away. I positioned myself and got him to run at them, used the flash and managed to catch a them in flight. The shutter speed was not that fast thats why you get a little blurring. Turned out really well.

Can we see some of your photos?

I have a few other galleries, pm me for the url.

The 'Mom' is not a mom - she may not be as young as the other girl, but if you could meet her you would take back such comments, she was one of the coolest chicks I met over there. Probably not her best photo but I like it... She doesn't look the best in this photo either but I think its a classic! he he he

out of the whole lot of photos i taught photo 5 of the seagulls had a great contrast with the sunset and the gulls. That would be my pick

Thats why i used "quote's" because i did not think she looked like a mom.. i figure late 20's maybe.
