Toshiba Portege R100

I'm thinking of picking up a laptop, primarily for out of home and travel work, so I've decided to go down the ultraportable route.

The model I'm looking at picking up is a toshiba portege R100, it's small but with a full sized keyboard, weighs 1.09 kg and with the extra battery gets around 7-8 hours of regular use on the single charge. Oh and 3 years warranty as standard is sweet!

Downsides are that it is quite expensive and that there are no integrated disc drives, optical or floppy.

I'm not too pushed about the lack of a ROM drive since I'm planning on picking up an external one for use for installing stuff. And I'm never planning on playing games or watching movies on it, thats what my desktop is for. I'm looking at this purely for MS Office work, and maybe a little light web surfing.

I'm just looking for opinions on this, I think i've my choice well sussed, but I'd be open to suggestions.
